DLAMINI ZUMA vs DE BEER, LIBERTY FIGHTERS 2ND ROUND COURT DATE CONFIRMED

The Application for Leave to Appeal by Minister of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs, Dr. Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma, against the judgment granted by Justice Norman Davis on 2 June 2020 in the Reyno De Beer and Liberty Fighters Network (LFN) case declaring the Lockdown Regulations as unconstitutional and invalid will be heard at the Gauteng Division High Court on Wednesday, 24 June 2020 at 10h00.

De Beer and LFN say that they are ready to face the Minister in the second round and have opted to keep it straight and simple and will see what “the cat is going to drag in”.

De Beer says that due to its overwhelming support and numerous requests, LFN is busy setting up structures in the Western Cape, KZN and Eastern Cape adding to the already functioning Gauteng support and will ensure that their main goal will be to make Government realise that the people are governing and that Government is at the mercy of the people to manage and administer our country in line with the Constitution and to benefit all who lives in it and not only benefitting a handful of Rupert and Oppenheimer Family supporters.
