On Tuesday the resolute freedom organisation, Liberty Fighters Network (LFN), lodged an Application in the High Court Gauteng Division Pretoria to review and set aside the decision by the Minister of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs, Dr. Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma, to have terminated the National State of Disaster (COVID-19)(“NSD”) on 4 April 2022.
“There is method to the madness,” says LFN President, Reyno De Beer.
In court papers LFN states that the Minister was never empowered to have prematurely ended the NSD and had to have waited until 15 April 2022 for the monthly extension to run out. Thus, it is believed that the entire termination publication is null and void and that, in particular, the strange arrangement to continue with ‘unattached’ regulations fuelling the COVID-19 Vaccine Injury No-Fault Compensation Scheme, where the few taxpayers still left in fact stood in for the COVID-19 vaccine manufacturers, could come to an abrupt end.
“We are not much concerned about whether the NSD ended on either 4 or 15 April, instead getting more information relating to why the NSD ended comparing to the still unknown reasons why the NSD was declared in the first instance, will be the treasure to unlock,” says De Beer. “LFN still beliefs that the NSD was the disaster and that the claimed COVID-19 pandemic never satisfied the definition of a disaster in the Disaster Management Act”.
Throughout the NSD legal challenge, De Beer argued that the Regulations on the Surveillance and Control of Notifiable Medical Conditions could have been utilised to achieve the same, or even better results as declaring an NSD, the courts have repeatedly frowned upon LFN’s reasoning. It just happened to be that once the NSD came to an end, Health Minister Dr. Phaahla jumped to the opportunity and in fact used the very regulations the courts bluntly ignored.
“Now that LFN has proved by way of the Government’s latest conduct that they were always right in that there was no use to have declared the NSD, we are now aiming that Minister Dlamini-Zuma will in fact come forward with a sack of evidence which could proof that our Government deceived the people in relation to the COVID-19 narrative all along,” so De Beer.
The Minister will have three weeks to deliver her full record backing her entire decision-making process with the Registrar of the High Court.
